Through my passion for learning software, I have brought characters, objects, and environments to life, using Blender and Autodesk 3DS Max. I have honed my skills in modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation by attending different courses and classes. From these classes, I learned how to model and animate characters, as well as sculpting and texturing models. As a 3D hobbyist, I am always looking to learn and improve my work process when it comes to 3D as well as rendering more advanced animations.
I worked on this project as a creative intern in Denstu Jayme Syfu. This was a unique collaboration of PLDT with Alex Bruce and The Madrigal Singers on the piece "Muling Pagbangon" after 1 year of the pandemic. Despite the challenges presented by the lockdown and remote work, the team demonstrated resilience, creativity, and a deep passion for the arts. Despite the physical limitations, the project thrived on the shared determination of all parties involved to showcase Filipino talent and creativity. My part in the team was to create keyframes for the music video as well as assisted the art director in creating animation choices and pitching the boards to the CEO of the company.
Novoi is a typeface project wherein I challenged myself to create a typeface using Fontforge and Illustrator. My goal for this project is to create a unique display typeface inspired by the "mecha" genre of anime and the art nouveau movement. This resulted in the creation of a geometric typeface with it's most unique feature being serifs. Below is a showcase of how I created Novoi and where the typeface can be applied.
